Hypertension can be indicated as a state of the high blood pressure after eating. It is a serious condition which, according to the CDC, short for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, affects at least one in three adults in the United State. There are a lot of things to cause this condition and one of the most common causes comes from the habit of smoking.
The incidence of high blood pressure is increased among those who smoke more than 15 cigarettes per day. Each cigarette the smoker takes causes the blood pressure to rise transiently. The transient rise in the blood level after smoking can be changed to be permanent if the smoker keeps smoking in the same amount each day. Habitually, the sudden rise is most prominent with the first cigarette the smoker takes in the day. So that, smoking should be avoided by any patient suffering from hypertension.
